A sign of things to come...
It's been a while since I had the mood to blog, and since several stange events happened tonight, I felt that it's worthwhile to post this up.

It was a strange night. A lucky stroke of luck had fallen on me on my way back home. After buying some handphone credit at a 7-11 store in City Square, I called a friend of mine, telling that I was heading home and couldn't join him for an event that I would not like to elaborate here =P. As it was already late and I don't want my parents to start making noise. Anyway, I was talking to him on the phone and as I was about to enter Jalan Tun Razak from City Square's parking entrance, a police patrol car was parked on the right side of the junction by the roadside and was facing me. I caught a glimpse of the car and suddenly the police car's blue, red and yellow lights started flashing. My brain instantly signalled to me,"Oh shit! Better stop now and turn on your hazard lights!" I pulled over, turned on my hazard lights and continued talking until I hung-up and drove off. Thankfully, the police car just stayed there with its lights still flashing. Phew! (Below is a little pictogram to give u a picture of my position, I know it's a bit sucky but i hope it helps)

But dead ahead, after the Jalan Ampang-Tun Razak traffic lights, a police roadblock was waiting for my arrival. At least this time they have no reason to pull me over. So, I entered the queue into the roadblock politely and a silver Honda Accord was making a u-turn on my right side. The driver saw the roadblock and quickly reversed his car out of the u-turn as if he's a wanted criminal. The cops at the roadblock saw him backing up and went to investigate but by now he has escaped into the night. That was some shit to put a smile on my face and I went thru the roadblock without any problems. It's a good thing I didn't join my friends as I thought of this as some type of premonition of things to come. A police car or a roadblock (even when you've done nothing wrong) may sometimes be an unwelcoming sight, if you know what I mean....

But things that happened after this made me rather disgusted and angry. Read my next post.... =)
