A sign of things to come...
It's been a while since I had the mood to blog, and since several stange events happened tonight, I felt that it's worthwhile to post this up.

It was a strange night. A lucky stroke of luck had fallen on me on my way back home. After buying some handphone credit at a 7-11 store in City Square, I called a friend of mine, telling that I was heading home and couldn't join him for an event that I would not like to elaborate here =P. As it was already late and I don't want my parents to start making noise. Anyway, I was talking to him on the phone and as I was about to enter Jalan Tun Razak from City Square's parking entrance, a police patrol car was parked on the right side of the junction by the roadside and was facing me. I caught a glimpse of the car and suddenly the police car's blue, red and yellow lights started flashing. My brain instantly signalled to me,"Oh shit! Better stop now and turn on your hazard lights!" I pulled over, turned on my hazard lights and continued talking until I hung-up and drove off. Thankfully, the police car just stayed there with its lights still flashing. Phew! (Below is a little pictogram to give u a picture of my position, I know it's a bit sucky but i hope it helps)

But dead ahead, after the Jalan Ampang-Tun Razak traffic lights, a police roadblock was waiting for my arrival. At least this time they have no reason to pull me over. So, I entered the queue into the roadblock politely and a silver Honda Accord was making a u-turn on my right side. The driver saw the roadblock and quickly reversed his car out of the u-turn as if he's a wanted criminal. The cops at the roadblock saw him backing up and went to investigate but by now he has escaped into the night. That was some shit to put a smile on my face and I went thru the roadblock without any problems. It's a good thing I didn't join my friends as I thought of this as some type of premonition of things to come. A police car or a roadblock (even when you've done nothing wrong) may sometimes be an unwelcoming sight, if you know what I mean....

But things that happened after this made me rather disgusted and angry. Read my next post.... =)

Life is cheap for the "rempits"
How many of us Malaysian drivers have not encountered any motorcyclists speeding or getting ready to risk their lives? Some got it the bad way, some just became angry and annoyed by them and starts complaining about the state of our youth these days (which I did). I was on the way back home from Ampang after several games of pool with some ex-Sri Gardenians when I had the most dangerous and frightening encounter with the people we call the mat rempits. It was 1.40am and I was on the empty KL-Seremban Highway, just passed the Sg. Besi toll. The highway was deserted and everything seemed like an ordinary early morning-late night drive until a Waja overtook me hastily. I was on the middle lane after giving way to the speeding Waja and I was wondering why he did that, since there were no cars behind him. Then all of a sudden, the Waja slowed down like its the end of the world and that got me freaked out tremendously.

That's when I realize that five bikes with pillion riders were sitting precariously on each lane of the three-lane highway with two of them in the fast lane! What the f*** are they thinking?! It's the craziest idea to go racing on a highway where people go at least 110km/h everyday! Then a few meters down the road, at least twenty more of them were waiting in the emergency lane as if it was the passing-of-the-torch event of the Olympics (Zeus will be utterly disgusted). I gave them a satisfying honk to show my anger. Its such a stupid thing to do, putting their lives on the borderline between life and death. Stupid, stupid, stupid, stupid.... The same thing happened at least two hours earlier on Jalan Ampang near RISDA when a bunch of these "armpits" suddenly stopped in the right lane and surprised a poor unsuspecting driver.

Don't these people value their lives? It's sad to say that a number of them perished needlessly in tragic road accidents. It makes smoking weed and hash look harmless, doesn't it?

Just when I was about to settle down...
... thre crazy years have passed. It's been two weeks since Prom and the atmosphere of the studios is still lingering in the air, bittersweet memories. Although its already the holidays that I've been dreaming of for the past three years, nothing much has changed actually, it's dissapointing to note that some of the old habits stays on. Staying up late, waking up late, going out... Miss all those time in the studio... What the hell am I rambling about here?? I dunno myself, maybe the "stuff" is still in my blood, oh man, wonderful feeling.... That's it for the moment, nothing much....
