Of religion and responsibility
First of all, before I begin, I would like to say that I'm not a religious kind of person, so I would not touch on certain issues which I do not have much knowledge to back me up. Comments are greatly welcomed. =)

But Malaysians are the type of people who have the "hangat-hangat tahi ayam" type of attitude. We take things easy and tend to forget things until it has lost its steam. But when someone starts something that in the end turns into a big issue, people will start to follow and becomes the talk of the town. Some, I guess, don't even know what their doing and are easily influenced by other people, you can say that they follow blindly, thinking their on the right path. And before you know it, its all over and another issue pops up and everyone forgets about what had happened...

Well, for example the Sky Kingdom issue now, is it really necessary to actually burn Ayah Pin's, the so-called "deviationist sect" leader, personal properties? What the hell are these people thinking lah? Doing it in the name of religion? Sigh, since when religion teaches us to go on a rampage and start burning things and throwing petrol and burning tyres into people's property? Have they no respect for other people's rights and property, even if the person concerned is in the wrong? Even a criminal has the right to a fair trial. Vigilantes or just plain stupidity, up to you to decide, but for me these actions are really over the line and barbaric. I'm sure sooner or later, no one will bother about the Sky Kingdom anymore...

Same goes to the people who visits my neighbour for the weekly prayers or "doa", they are here to show God that their good human beings and yet they park their vehicles irresponsibly all over the streets and into people's driveways. Where is the justice in this? Its the same as not going for the prayers at all since you trouble other people. All for the sake of making things easier for them so that they don't have to walk so far from their car. Selfishness is the keyword here. People who live in the area don't honk their cars to get attention because its rude, so they ended up parking their car somewhere else till its all over.

Of religion and responsibility, yes, religion is important, but where's the point when you forget about responsibility?

Dark clouds ahead... But hope is in sight (I think)
Well, it's been one hell of a hoilday, well spent in some ways. Hanging out with the ex-Gardenians has never been as exhilirating as I thought it would have been, from impromptu outings to the usual pool or shisha-ing, jotting all of them down here would be as redundant as staring at a blank wall.

Life has never been as crazy for me, for the first time I saw and heard a lot of things that made me feel concious or re-evaluate about myself, and made me think about what I had gone through, and for the first time, I'm assured that I'm not alone. Friends who had gone thru the same shit in relationships, the misery were hard to bear or carry on. A friend in need is a friend indeed. All I can say now, the past is the past, but the past has changed me in ways that I've never thought of. Well, its not all bad and cloudy though, discovered some wonderful things along the way too; Luna Bar, became closer with ex-Gardenians, and the most important thing of all, how to have fun (but Luna Bar still tops the list =P).

Now that I'm arriving on the third day of my final semester at TCPJ, I felt like the things that happened in the past day could have been resolved in a much better way. But some things have been thought out long ago and I think its a bit hard to change when people have made up their minds. Its like a promise, never to be broken, and I had learned the hard way through other people's doing. Thinking of it just makes me sick.....

Oh well, life goes on, hope the dark clouds of uncertainty will clear within a few days, and let hope shine through the crumminess of life...
